YouTubeは、広告表示を制限するサブスクリプションプラン「YouTube Premium Lite」で、新たにバックグラウンド再生とオフライン再生の機能を追加した。「YouTube Premium Lite」の利用料は月額780円。

Google傘下のYouTubeは、月額780円の低価格プラン「YouTube Premium Lite」にバックグラウンド再生とダウンロード機能を追加すると発表した。日本を含む提供地域で順次展開される。上位プランとの差が縮まる一方、Liteでは引き続き音楽コンテンツやショート動画は新機能の対象外となる。
