読み込み中のホーム画面には「読み込み中でも支払えます」というメッセージとともに決済コードが表示される。さらに支払いボタンをタップすれば、支払い専用画面に遷移し、バーコードに加えてQRコードとdポイントカードも同時に表示される仕組みだ。読み込みが完了すれば、これまで通りポイント残高の確認や各種機能が利用できる。
NTTドコモは2月26日から順次、「d払い」アプリの更新を行う。更新後のアプリでは データの読み込み中に支払い用のコードが“先行して”表示される ため、支払操作がよりスムーズに行える。 「支払い」画面の表示時は、バーコード／二次元コード／dポイントカードのバーコードが先行表示されるようになる。ネット接続が不安定な際は「ネット未接続で支払い」が表示され、支払いを継続できる。
