I’m a BIG believer in high protein breakfasts for kids. Protein and fats are more slowly digested preventing those erratic blood sugar spikes (and crashes) from high carb meals. Stable blood sugar = stable energy… moods & behaviors follow suit. Westernized breakfast foods for kids are so high in carbs and sugars, and there’s simply not enough whole food options that are quick and easy. I always strive for simplicity.
